Art Created For The Eyes & Ears….

All Things Art:

Five years ago I created this hand painted violin for an music organization in Tennessee. Time flies! and phone image taking technology sure has improved over that time!

Hand painted violin 2015
If I can ever find the backside image I will add it to this post.

Musical instruments are labor intensive to paint. A musician friend disassembled the strings for me to help me work unimpeded. Next came sanding. Creating a design. (This was while I was in an abstract expression period). Painting the design. (Front and back) The final step is clear coating the violin. It takes a while to create a custom work like this.

You can play this piece.

Note: I have one of these violins in stock and a stand available for purchase with the commission work. If you, or you know someone who might be interested in a an art work like this please share this post. allow 4-6 weeks for completion of a special order like this.

I am accepting commissions for 2020.

Peace & Stay Safe,
Valerie

I have my own particular sorrows, loves, delights; and you have yours. But sorrow, gladness, yearning, hope, love, belong to all of us, in all times and in all places. Music ((and art)) is the only means whereby we feel these emotions in their universality. ~H.A. Overstreet
