Inktober 2018 -Day 16 -Is Angles

[Update: I’m so screwed up that yes, i thought it was Monday! ?]

Monday’s……ugh right? I’ve just sit down to share today’s drawing for #inktober.

Angles.

Angles are the prompt for today’s sketching exercise and I couldn’t think WTH to draw. If you know me any little bit at all, I am so NOT an angle person. Don’t get me wrong, I love beautiful, intricately executed architecture and art. I’m just not particularly inspired to create it myself.

I am a great admirer of Frank Lloyd Wright’s work, and it’s organic designs that embraced nature in all its elements. Wrights work is credited for the new movement in architecture that became termed the Prairie School Movement. He was later inducted into the American Institute of Architects as the greatest American architect of all time, a pretty awesome legacy.

My day sixteen sketch-angle is simply in homage to the prairie school movement and the great man himself. I also think it would make a pretty bad ass stained glass piece.
