On The Easel, & Inktober…

Art News

Last week was pretty hectic at home and in my art world. Like I didn’t have enough to do already, I decide to add in some outdoor projects to the mix. So I’m sore, scratched up from briars, and stressed.

AOTF was a successfully executed, even if the crowds were not what others compared to last year. A few random clouds decided to open up and sprinkle showers randomly for about an hour. If anything will send a lot of artists packing, it is weather! Luckily, for me the only thing I had to protect were the coloring books. Which were a big hit, by the way. Thank you to the historical group for organizing the event. Interestingly, we didn’t even know about Washington St. Or specifically, that it splits into two parts and there was this fabulous neighborhood of beautiful homes. I do now! Also a thank you to the lovely couple who opened up their home to artists for use of their facilities, your home’s historical architecture and details were beautiful.
